Passover: The Feast of Matzah

April 16, 2014
This message was given at a Spring Feasts service

In this message, Rabbi Hershberg stresses the importance of getting rid of the hametz (leaven-[sin]) in our lives. He states that "God has to carve the decay out of our lives," and questions "Before you fill it, don't you have to drill it?" He points out that Yochanan the Immerser spoke of decreasing so that Yeshua could increase in his life. Rabbi Hershberg further states, "He's got to get rid of the leaven and bring in the Heaven!" "It takes only a little hametz..." He challenges us to take time during this Passover season to examine our lives and allow God to reveal any leaven in us.
